My eldest daughter has literally waited years to be old enough for me to allow her to play this game after my husband played it through, as did I.
Soon it will be the Assassins Creed series... I recall her at 11 saying to my husband "don't forget to hide the body!" .

Also, we've been letting one kid when he was 8 play GTA as long as the sound was down. I'm not a parent though.
