This simple practice is both a form of meditation and also a fast-track tip for finding the source of eternal, infinite fulfillment, but when I asked DJ Larry about it, he said he couldn't do it. I don't believe him -- I think his mind answered before he actually attempted it -- but I'm curious what others' experience is.
This will only take 20 seconds or so, so give it a shot: When I say "GO!", sit very still, and turn your attention inside the body. For instance, see if you can feel something inside your hands or feet, those are usually the easiest places to start. Do you find anything there? It may feel like a very low-level tingle, or some vague energetic vibration. I'm not interested in any scientific explanation or description of why it happens, I'm only interested if you can feel it. Something that is always there when attention is shined on it, in the absence of external stimuli. A deep resonance.
Okay, GO!

Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Yeah, I think I can do it. I feel the something most strongly in my throat and belly, but can also feel it in my feet to an extent. With my hands I do feel a tingle, but it feels more external than internal, like sparks dancing on my skin. However, that could be because I was thinking of playing Enchanter again recently.

I definitely could, or at least I believe I definitely could which is the same as I definitely could. I enjoyed this exercise. Thank you for posting it.

I voted definitively. I mean.. I do still have a fully functional nervous system. I also do not feel the dead nerves in my fingers that I have accidentally cut over the years.

And now for the far out perspective. I've had at least 2 experiences in my life on and off of psycho drugs where I had a nervous breakdown. Not like mentally.. well kind of.. but much more physically. And when it was on full blast, it felt as if my body was humming much louder than it should. Shaking, high heart rate, etc. It felt as if my whole body was shaking to this strong hum. It was not pleasant.

I found that happened when I read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. When I read the part referred to as "Gat's Speech," I cried, as it confirmed things I knew about myself that nobody ever said. And in two paragraphs she completely destroyed my belief in god. In that moment I knew I would forever be an agnostic. It wasn't until about 25 tyears later I discovered I was also an atheist, I just didn't know it then.pinback wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 6:47 pm This simple practice is both a form of meditation and also a fast-track tip for finding the source of eternal, infinite fulfillment,
Yes! I can feel it! A deep tingling in the heel and sole, when I wiggle my toes, I can feel it happening. When I move my lower leg, I feel the foot and leg respond, it is so amazing. When I lower the leg, I feel the weird sensation of the foot and leg sinking through the mattress, This all started happening shortly after that leg was amputated.pinback wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 6:47 pmturn your attention inside the body.
