I have never considered Roseanne Barf as much of a comedienne.

I mean.. to me she has said way funnier stuff than Amy Shumer but that VOICE, man. Rosanne has that voice that just sounds like some annoying mother in law from the midwest that won’t stop complaining lolTdarcos wrote: Tue Apr 06, 2021 7:04 am I have never considered Roseanne Barf as much of a comedienne.

Rosie O Donnel (sic?) She wasn't funny but I found it hilarious when her and Trump were slinging insults at each other hehAArdvark wrote: Wed Apr 07, 2021 2:57 am That closet lesbian chick that was in the baseball movie with Madonna....can't remember her name but very over rated

Re: [POLL] Most overrated comedian!
Is Rosie really an overrated comedian? I mean, is she held in high regard as a comedian? When I think overrated, I think like, my pick, George Carlin who is hailed as one of the GREATS OF ALL TIME and who never said a single thing I laughed at. Jerry Seinfeld, though I like him more than some of you, is another reasonable pick. But Rosie? Who says "Oh yeah, that Rosie, what a legendary comedian!"

Rosie O'Donnell won American Comedy Awards for "Funniest Female Performer in a TV Special" in both 1997 and 1999, and was nominated for various "funniest actress" awards in 1993, 1994, and 1998. Also in the 90s she was nominated by the Cable ACE awards in the categories for best Stand-Up Comedy Special or Series, Writing an Entertainment Special, Entertainment Host, and Entertainment Host. Her daytime talk show has won multiple Emmys, although one could argue it's not for her comedy.pinback wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 6:44 am Is Rosie really an overrated comedian? But yeah, multiple times, people got together and voted "who was the funniest person this year" and determined it was Rosie O'Donnell.

For the record, I voted for Bill Hicks, although I could make a good case for Lenny Bruce. Both of them just come off as angry dudes with no punchlines.

Yeah, but Lenny Bruce's act never wound up in a Tool song. POINT TO HICKS.
