It's the seventeen year cicadas. They live underground for 17 years, arise, fuck like crazy for three weeks, then die.

Pls to be showing us a recipe you made with them. Apparently they're quite the delicacy. NYT has a spicy popcorn fried cicada recipe but I won't pay for their paywall so can't see it.
