Never forget that one (1) guy figured out how to escape the labor market and race race for three days and we still can't stop talking about him.

Happy Easter, everyone.

I've been reduced to listening to a real am/fm radio to the Red Wings because the TuneIn and iHeart apps suck. Actually the TuneIn isnt bad but they shut down the live feed because iHeart got mad because they cant compete with free. Used to be just dead air/ live mic noise between innings which was cool. Those days are over. Now I just take out the earbuds after the third out

I want to invent additional Batman (1966) villians!

The Angler! A fishing villian, perhaps with a light dangling in front of his head

overheard this morning at a garage sale.

12YO: Look at these cute little shelves. What would you put on them?
Woman running garage sale: That's a CD tower.
12YO: (Looks confusingly at the tower.)
15YO: They were like tiny music records.

The other day I told my daughter that they used to charge for internet access by the hour and she just stared at me. Then I said, you know, like how we used to pay for long distance calls? And then she stared at me again. And then I was like, well remember when you only got so many minutes on your cell phone each month? And then she stared at me and then walked away shaking her head.

I am up to four pills that I take daily. I put an app on my phone to remind me to take them but still sometimes forget whether or not I've taken them. I have started moving the bottles to track the day I last took them based on 8-bit numbers. One bottle up and two down is Monday. Down-up-down is Tuesday, and so on. Up-up-up is Sunday. The fourth bottle isn't needed. This works great unless my wife straightens up my bathroom counter.

I'm working on a new book. I think there's too many cheese references. Is there such a thing?

We went to Texas de Brasil, the restaurant where the carvers come around to your table with big skewers of different South American meats.
At one point we had three different carvers attending us. One of our party described the experience as: "A meat fever-dream"

I have a suggestion. Buy a pillbox, the kind with boxes for each day of the week. But use four boxes each day just for that day. Put 1 pill in each of four boxes. The next day, when you get up, you open the first box and take it. At the next time, you take the second pill, and so on. Now, it's automatic, you instantly know how many of this pill you took that day. After you take the fourth one, refill all four. The 60 seconds of inconvenience to load it every day saves hours of worry.

I want a microwave oven with a 'hamster' setting on it. I do not want to ever put a hamster in a microwave, I just want a preset button marked 'hamster'. Sort of a conversation starter thing.

Note: I had one of the original NES carts where this action was available! It was cut out after roughly 10k carts.
