But you see, Pinback, you aren't funny anywhere but in your head. What you imagine as humor is just being mean and sarcastic. You *attempt* to be funny, yes, but you fail miserably. Your "jokes" are always the same old thing - mean insults. I've certainly never seen you say anything nice. I've been patient with you, hoping you would somehow magically turn out to be less of a dick than you seem, but it appears that ship has sailed.

One thing is clear - never have you made me laugh, or even chuckle or smile. The only emotions you have engendered in me are pity and cringing at how bad your "humor" is. You wouldn't even make a good insult comic because the things you say aren't entertaining, they're just name-calling.

While I imagine that in your mind you think you're very clever and witty, it's really kind of sad. I wonder what your life must be like, being so mean and negative all the time and never, ever having a positive thing to say. You're incredibly angry and bitter about something, and until you come to terms with that, all the cruel, hurtful sarcasm in the world - this defense mechanism you've built - will do nothing to make you happier.

What's your story? Alcoholic/drug addict? Did you suffer great trauma when younger? Child of alcoholics? Cruel father? Abused as a child? Bullied? Attacked by goats? Whatever it is, seek trauma therapy. Seriously.

Oh, and it's easy for you to pick people apart because we actually SAY stuff. We write whole paragraphs! Your longest posts are like 2 sentences. Two mean, nasty sentences. So I wouldn't get on my high horse if I were you, and smugly look down your nose at the rest of us. It's not as if you actually contribute anything to the conversation or the community.
