Okay, so it's Finsternis. How's it goin', man? I hope things are well. I really do hope things are well. We've had our differences, but at no point did I ever wish anything but the best for you.
Please email me so we can catch up.

Well we know he's an alcoholic (like me) but also used to have bitch tits so probably not goododyssia76 wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 11:45 amBut you see, Pinback, you aren't funny anywhere but in your head. What you imagine as humor is just being mean and sarcastic. You *attempt* to be funny, yes, but you fail miserably. Your "jokes" are always the same old thing - mean insults. I've certainly never seen you say anything nice. I've been patient with you, hoping you would somehow magically turn out to be less of a dick than you seem, but it appears that ship has sailed.pinback wrote: Sat Apr 23, 2022 1:52 pm That has never disqualified anyone. What disqualifies people is never making the slightest attempt to be funny, or insisting that the Will Smith slap was staged.
One thing is clear - never have you made me laugh, or even chuckle or smile. The only emotions you have engendered in me are pity and cringing at how bad your "humor" is. You wouldn't even make a good insult comic because the things you say aren't entertaining, they're just name-calling.
While I imagine that in your mind you think you're very clever and witty, it's really kind of sad. I wonder what your life must be like, being so mean and negative all the time and never, ever having a positive thing to say. You're incredibly angry and bitter about something, and until you come to terms with that, all the cruel, hurtful sarcasm in the world - this defense mechanism you've built - will do nothing to make you happier.
What's your story? Alcoholic/drug addict? Did you suffer great trauma when younger? Child of alcoholics? Cruel father? Abused as a child? Bullied? Attacked by goats? Whatever it is, seek trauma therapy. Seriously.
Oh, and it's easy for you to pick people apart because we actually SAY stuff. We write whole paragraphs! Your longest posts are like 2 sentences. Two mean, nasty sentences. So I wouldn't get on my high horse if I were you, and smugly look down your nose at the rest of us. It's not as if you actually contribute anything to the conversation or the community.
You're the person I respect least on this forum. Even other people I disagree with have points. They make statements. Express opinions. Write stuff longer than a Tweet. You know - act like actual people and not simply insult-spewing bots. Try acting like a person instead.

Seems like an obnoxious know it all and a self-proclaimed expert on everything.
Obviously has difficulty making friends. Too much ego to outwardly wonder why nobody likes him, but deep inside is miserable at how he never fits in.
Good night, Seattle.

Nailed it. He's an ademitted alcoholic who hit bottom and caught himself before it drove his wife away. The whole enchilada: secret drinking, spending large amounts of money on booze, lying about it to his wife, etc.
I could believe any of these.odyssia76 wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 11:45 am

I wish I had said this a long time ago. I've been pointing this out to him for years but he either deflects or ignores it.odyssia76 wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 11:45 amYou're the person I respect least on this forum. Re: Malice or mistake?
Ah, that explains a lot. The shame and denial of the alcoholic can cause a lot of anger and resentment that gets externally directed. Whoever took him to his first bar and bought him his first drink should be ashamed of themselves.Tdarcos wrote: Fri Apr 29, 2022 2:06 pm Nailed it.
