Is Cincinnati "Food Hell"?

Ok, I Googled Goetta and it sounds pretty good. I've had Pennsylvania scrapple before and Goetta sounds like a close cousin. That they have a whole festival around it adds to the goodness. Was there German oompa music?

I dunno how many regional varieties there are of the same idea. Scotland has haggis, Pennsylvania has scrapple, Cincinnati has goetta. Everyone's got a version of "mash up all the leftover animal parts with some filler and pretend it's food" thing. Goetta is a fine version of it, except it pops little oat things all over the kitchen when you fry it in a pan.

8. German sausages. Now, you can get those other places, but they're HUGE here. You can't go into a store without being slapped in the face with a wurst. At least I think that's what that was. And after my meal last night, of Glier's-brand mettwurst which might have been the yummiest sausage I ever had, I am adding this to the list.
