Very nice and peaceful. Is that her blanket? What cemetery is it?

Re: Noel's headstone
Heavy shit. I look at that age and I'm like "Well damn if what was me I wouldn't have even had the joy of owning a Nintendo Entertainment System yet."
Neither I or my mom (RIP) ever wanted to be buried, but I respect the practice and still feel an odd urge to visit the grave of my grandparents and my friend who shot himself in highschool who both "reside" in the same graveyard perpetually; I've just yet to do it.

I understand, a lot of people these days feel that way. My mom is buried across from her and I will be across from Noel. It's not exact because Mt Hope is pretty full, but we will make some sort of triangle.Jizaboz wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 11:02 pm Heavy shit. Re: Noel's headstone
I used to fear that Noel would get cold on the winter, so I always put a blanket on her grave. Irrational, I know, but she was still a child when she lost her life.AArdvark wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 1:25 pm Very nice and peaceful. Is that her blanket? What cemetery is it?

She may no longer be with me, but she will never stop being my babychub, and I her mamachub. No one can take that away from us, not time, not death. The bond between mother and child is eternal.
