Re: Random thoughts
I recently was gifted an eBike from a family member.
One of my friends came over and I let him ride it. He almost wrecked it.
Today my neighbor came over and saw it. I let him ride it and he crashed and slid across my driveway.
I am not letting anyone else ride the eBike.

As well U shouldn't considering that incident. Might consider getting waiver next time.
Sent from a mobile phone, with assistance from various things. Computer very sick.

Re: Random thoughts
Yesterday while visiting my new sleep doctor, he mentioned things had been slow over the past few years due to the "pandemic." When he said "pandemic" he made air quotes and winked at me.
I know not everyone agreed on the seriousness of COVID, but I kind of thought most doctors were on the same page. I guess not.

On "big trash day," when I have items out in a trash pile, you don't need to come knock on my door and ask me if you take items from the trash pile. They're trash. Enjoy your broken rocking chairs. No conversation was required.

Random thought: Why do people value the political opinions of musicians and celebrities and not the opinions of, say, people who make tasty soup?

Perhaps! Once I was at Aldi and noticed that "pepper jack" cheese was 1.75 a block while "Monterrey jack" was 2.00 and the only thing I can figure is because the jalapeno is cheaper than the cheese.cassie_91 wrote: Mon May 22, 2023 6:05 pm Swiss cheese should cost less because parts of it are missing!

Re: Random thoughts
Was getting my hair cut today. Some kid, I....think it was a girl, got a buzz cut on one half of his/ her/it's head and kept the other side shoulder length.
It looked ridiculous, but if I let it get to me then they win.

Re: Random thoughts
We are trying to leave our dog alone for 15-30 minutes, so I went to the Wal-Mart that I hate today.
There is an employee watching the self-checkout stations, an old guy, who wants to tell cheesy jokes to customers. I had no idea he was going to do this the first time, so I am sure I reacted with shock and confusion. Now I know it's going to happen and there is no stopping it, so I just laugh at his jokes. He is just trying to make the world a better place. That's fine.
At the end of his set, he pointed to a sign by the (self-checkout) register. He said that they were raising money to help the depicted kid, who has leukemia.
Now look, I hate Wal-Mart, but let's put that aside for a second. They just BOUGHT THE DENVER BRONCOS. It was in the billions. It cost billions. They didn't go looking in couches for the last few bucks, either. They have made billions and used a little of it to buy an NFL team, and one of the good ones, too, not the Texans.
I feel bad for any kid with any kind of cancer, but Wal-Mart themselves are telling me they'd rather buy a football team than help this kid out themselves, so don't put another thing on me. For the record, going into this dump they want the following:
1. I have to bring my own bags
2. I have to check myself out
3. I have to bring the carts back to the cart center
4. I now have to help cure cancer
No shit they have the time and money to buy the Broncos when they expect every person that goes into their shithole stores to work a second job for them. Sorry cunts, take it out of your endless profits. Maybe if you had instead bought the Mammoth.

I once had a supervisor at Lockheed Martin tell me over the span of 90 seconds that (a) due to cutbacks they were no longer giving out Christmas hams, and (b) they had just won a $27 billion defense contract.
