I decided to start my AI art career by feeding Bing Buffalax lyrics, sometimes with a little extra prompting or rewording if I don't like the results. If you're not familiar with Buffalax, he used to do these hilarious misheard lyrics videos back when YouTube was still young. He'd take a foreign language song and subtitle in English according to what he thinks he's hearing. Here's a classic example of his work.
Awesome high quality images Bryan B!
Especially loving your June teeth image. I did something similar for Father's day, but it did not come out as good.
Thank you so much, Rae! I really liked your latest robot and the spooky old woman pics. I think fantasy, horror, and science fiction are all good themes for AI art because it makes it easier to overlook some of the odd or nonsensical elements that tend to get introduced by the AI when you're not trying to depict the world exactly as it is in reality. For the same reason, I think cartoon, comic book, anime, and other non-photorealistic art styles are a good fit because the errors in the images can start to look more like stylistic choices than fuckups.
For some reason, I had a lot of trouble getting a usable Juneteenth image...more trouble than I've ever had before. Perhaps my prompt was too complicated or Bing was just being racist, but I kept getting a lot of weird stuff: people with misshapen heads, missing limbs, cut off fingers, etc. Real horror show material that definitely didn't fit the theme I had in mind for that image at all.
