I will be keeping track of Nethack deaths in this thread.

and 85 pieces of gold, after 1368 moves.
You were level 4 with a maximum of 35 hit points when you died.

I became a werejackal in the game, which I didn't know it supported.

I asked for "more information" about gnomes and it posted a passage from J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter book, which is the worst thing I've ever seen in a great game.

Things I don't know how to do:

1) Get more spells for my spellbook

This is not going well.

Sometimes it seems like there aren't enough monsters to eat, so you die of hunger.

Attention, those that have played Nethack. Is there a color (ASCII) version of Nethack?

I installed nethack on Ubuntu, and it's in color.



I also just "brew install nethack"ed on my Mac lappy and it has color. (Use cool-retro-term for maximum awesomeness!)

Kinda non-color nethack are you rockin' ma dude?

Just Hack :( I don't think Nethack will work on the PCjr.

I .. . I can't find any evidence of color in regular old Hack.

I spent way too much time tonight trying to get Nethack 2.3e working on a PCjr.

I am told I have to set TERM=ibmpc but then when I do that, the game tells me it's an invalid TERM.

Does DOS 5.x not supp... no, term is just a t-- what??
