The 8bitDo gamepad

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

Their manual is online.

https://manual.8bitdo.com/EN.html

I don't recall ever seeing an online manual do what it does. It essentially asks you what you're trying to do with one of their products and then takes you through the questions they know you have. Like, for instance, having to set the 8bitDo to "X" to work on a computer.

Pinback and I used to talk about how worthless the documentation was to ... I want to say the Tomcat server. I recall Pinner saying. "They know what you want to do for Christ's sake, just tell us." (All anyone wanted Tomcat to do was run Java jar files.) This seems to be kind of the opposite.

I hope they don't go out of business though I guess?

They're the only ones out there who make a d-pad that doesn't suck, so I hope not!
