Rise of the Triad (2024, Playstation 4)

The thing has MOTION SENSORS. What? What the heck? I did not know the PS4 had this in the controller. Nobody told me. I've never bought a game that used it. Didn't know it was a thing.

I bought the version of Rise of the Triad, one of the best video games of all-time, for the PS4 because I saw someone talking about it on Twitter during the power cut-off. I went to play it today and I had the remote to my treadmill in one hand, and the PS4 gamepad in the other. I thought the treadmill was somehow interfering with the wireless mode of the PS4.

But noooooooo!!

I can't say that this is the best way to play the game or whatever. But I had CHILD-LIKE WONDER at moving around the room and having my person in RoTT do the same thing. AMazing. Incredible! The future!!

Did the rest of you guys know it could do that????
