Pursuant to a request by Jonsey, I have done a recap of all the MVP vote threads on this BBS. I was able to find them for 2016-2024, there were no other MVP postings for any other year. I also did four searches for threads having "2015","2014", "2013" and "2012" in the title. No results discussed this subject, threrefore I consider that no other MVP elections have occurred.
These are the results:
2024 Pinback (4, 7 voting)
2023 Jizaboz (6, 10 voting in runoff)
2022 Tie: Aardvark, Casual Observer, Pinback (all 2, 7 voting in runoff)
2021 Flack (4, 10 voting)
2020 ICJ (7, 12 voting in runoff)
2019 Tdarcos (7, 14 voting)
2018 Flack (By consensus rather than vote)
2017 Pinback (4, 14 voting)
2016 Aardvark (4, 9 voting)
The funny thing is, I remember winning MVP twice. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Perhaps you should refer back to the issued certificates, as they are the ultimate proof of winning?Tdarcos wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 3:42 am The funny thing is, I remember winning MVP twice. Maybe I'm mistaken.

What year did you quit mailing out the trophies? I still have mine displayed on my desk.

We only started issuing certificates when I¹ started creating them. Not every election was "certified."
Yeah, right. Right now, I'm broke; I couldn't afford to mail 50¢! I haven't been able to buy my favorite candy for months. And no, it's not Starburst; I stopped buying/eating that five years ago.Flack wrote: Thu Jan 30, 2025 6:52 pm What year did you quit mailing out the trophies? I still have mine displayed on my desk.
The only reason you have a trophy is you bought it for yourself.
