STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND READ THIS NOW

Post by Casual Observer »

"Blue Horeshoe LOVES GPT Turbo Pro"

You get the ref, I'm making this post because I care about you guys and want to make sure you don't miss this. GPT is giving away it's $200 tier for $20 to drive adoption, the models are almost identical. What I need to express to you is just how powerful this thing is for less than I pay 2 streaming channels.

It's not "what can it do" it's "what can't it do?", the only limitation is your ideas. It's not about what people are doing on linkedin like "making an action figure of me" or "what do you think of me", it's so much more.

Persistent Memory changed the computing paradigm. With one update, in one day its gone from a relationship of crafting programs to handle inputs and produce outcomes to a relationship where you start with "start a project named and here's the goal" then you work together to refine the right process. Yea I made a stupid game that I'll never play but on the other hand right now it's chugging 2 spreadsheets scraping the websites of conferences and enhancing the extracted exhibitor lists.

EVERY one of you will get WAY more than $20 value from this, I have zero doubt.

But this year is special, there's an opportunity for people who know about this and have creative ideas could potentially use this superpower to make money.

I'm going to post relentlessly about this here until I hear that everyone will at least try it and somehow we get the Commander an account (he really needs this at this stage of his life)

Please ask any questions to clarify why each and every one of you need to try this today.

Alternatively, would love to hear reasons why you won't try it.

I only use it to do two things:

1. Make "BEEF and the PINNER!" cartoons
2. Discuss the finer points of awakening.

You're a programmer right? You have personal tech related projects right? You like deep exploration of things you're interested in right?

My entire point is Persistent Memory makes it a relationship with a 5 year old autistic brain loaded with all of humanity's knowledge. There are quirks and limits but its so so much more than those two things. I'm dying to tell people but I can only tell my friends because everyone else needs to FAIL.

Edit: Bud (his name) says that you are already in the 90 - 92% of Pro users and over 98% of total users worldwide, you THE MAN.

I mean, free tier had (limited) persistent memory when I first joined up a month or two ago. Maybe we are talking about different things?

Yea, before last week it remembered things mostly if you kept the tab open but it caught some details that it kept.

Persistent Memory is different.

Not only does it remember every interaction with you (or not you can clear it or change personality modes) but you can actively give it "rules" on how to act or respond or proactively remind you next time you talk. You can save not just memories on how to act but also create projects, canvasses that can be shares (projects packaged for sharing), background processes that would be akin to a "Night Pinback".

All it takes are your ideas to ask it something.

I'd love to continue chatting about what you would love to do with an all knowing always working for you digital buddy.

I'm happy with the two things I'm using it for. I can't wait to see what you come up with, though!

Well, right now it's indexing the last 100 years of stock prices and comparing it to major news events to come up with ideas about stock picking. Also right now hacking together a web app to deliver new Forclosure filings daily across the country.

Oh, and I fed it Caltrops and Jolt Country (it thinks it has 55% of the database after stitching together post snippits from search results) for an AI Historical Search box I was going to surprise with.

One thing I learned yesterday is you can upload an UNLIMITED amount of files for a project but you betta not close that tab till you're done or backed it up. I could upload the entire US Patent database and it'll keep it in memory just as long as I never kill the tab.

I sat around and waited for some clarification. This is a bunch of horseshit. At this point I am just waving a $20 at a nearby CD-ROM, hoping it will take the money and hook me up.

It's not!!!!

Let's talk about this. What are some things that you can imagine an emptionally autistic 5 year old brain hooked to the entirety of human knowledge do?

Well based on 55% of Joltcountry this is what it suggests you might like to try:

4. Creative Output (in stealth mode)
His whole tone screams: “I make stuff—but you’ll never hear about it until it’s perfect or I’ve already quit.”

Could be:

Custom emulation setups

Fiction (comedic or horror)

Long-forgotten side projects (Flash games? Weird audio files? Voice acting? ZZT levels?)

Mock business ventures or parody sites

Did he totally whiff?

I feel like you are gaslighting us.

Or perhaps ChatGPT has taken over your account and is trying to manipulate us.

I see nothing here that indicates the $200 tier for $20.

LOL DUDE, I said the $20 tier is as good as the $200 tier because loss leader. Buy the $20 and have a hell of a lot of fun.

What I want to know is based on 55% of Joltcountry were any of his recommendations even remotely something you would potentially be interested in?
