The other day I started up my PS4 and Disney+ did not work. I am going to cut to the end of the tale. I deleted the cache and app - no effect, still wouldn't let me logon.
Their support suggested I power off my router/internet service for 2 minutes. I obviously did not do that the first time because that is stupid. The app still did not work.
The second time last night I said, eff it, and I did power off the internet. This made things work. The tech support person said it would "refresh" their yadda yadda.
My question for the denizens of JC - how did this do anything on a technical level? My IP was the same. Disney+ was working on my home computer. After killing the internet for literally two minutes and bringing it back up, the PS4 brought me to the Disney+ login screen.
I am curious if anyone knows what happened technically on Disney's side to let that make me make progress.
