The Internet is where I want to be buried.

After seeing this, it is where I want to always be. I've suddenly realized that I love the Internet and all it represents. It's wonderful. Maybe I am just some stupid kid striving for some geek chic acceptance, but Goatse.cx was fucking art, and seeing a person get their throat slashed was amazing. It is the culmination of everything. Watching this chicken dance well listening to Miles Davis is something I hope I never forget. I'm glad I grew up with this damn internet and I'm glad that it made me hate God, hate everyone, and even a bit hate myself because it's fucking beautiful.

EDIT: It's just this inexplicable melody that I don't think I could ever get bored of. It's there not so much a Information Superhighway, but like a new plane of existience, an entire world with many communities and absurd amounts of diversity. There is loads of crap on the net but, I'm glad I grew up here, I'm glad I'm here right now, and I'm really looking forward to staying.

I know to what you are referring here, and even *I* could have done without that. That shit scarred me for life.

"Dude, I wanna see it! My father was a forensic doctor guy, so I seen all the worst shit ever!"

"Don't watch it, man, seriously."

"Dude! I GOTTA SEE IT!"

"I'm warning you, man. Don't watch it. It will scar you for life."

"DUDE!"

"Alright, here: [shows Chechnian guy clip]"

"..." "Aw MAAAN, why'd you SHOW me that??!?"

That is definitely the worst thing ever. Gets my vote, anyway. And I watch NASCAR.

Yeah, that is why it was amazing. Having all your past experiences immediately pale to the brutality and savagery of the real world and somehow still not being there for a real life experience. It's just an aspect of why the Internet is so amazing. Here we are this little group of snot nosed intelligentsia existing in something bigger than us, bigger than God, sitting around badmouthing the Live Journal fags, bitching about how many potatoes it would take to power a Vectrex (red skin potatoes), and just being in this wonderful Information SuperHighschool having our preconceptions smashed and all boundaries tested. I'm finally really in awe of that.

Whoa... what now?

What guy got his throat slit? I've never heard of this.

Christ, don't you remember when I showed Ogrish to pinner and he went nuts and watched almost every video on it?

I am constantly refered to as "somebody" in the thread too.

Well, no, Worm did not "introduce me" to Ogrish.

However: Jonsey. Seriously. Do not watch the clip of which we speak. I genuinely wish I'd never seen it, and I'm one who watched the Budd Dwyer tape fifty times in a row.

Here, I'll describe it for you instead:

Dude (in close-up to frame his neck and head) gets a boot on his head to hold him down. Then someone runs a blade across his neck, slowly at first, while the horror in the guy's eyes grows to a fever pitch.

Then Knifeboy begins going to town on my man's neck like a fiend, hacking and slicing away like he's at a Ruth's Chris, while our victim first clenches in pain and shock, and then lets out a scream which is quickly rendered into gurgling sounds as the knife drives back and forth through his vocal chords (and anything else useful down there) while he clenches every face muscle available to bear the short-lived blast of pain.

Seconds later, it's over and he's left in a growing pool of his own blood.

Enjoy!

I just read the other thread. Pinner, can you tell me which death metal band it was that they were playing on Orgish? Terrorist metal is currently underrepresented in my collection, and I would like to remedy this.

I found it and played it the other night. Without sound.

In other news, I have been able to get to sleep each and every night lately.
