Post by Casual Observer »

It seems that enough people here enjoy the spendor of Iron Chef so that we must determine Joltcountry's favorite Iron Chef.

Chen-san is the most fun to watch. He has the perpetual look of a man thinking, "What the hell am I doing?" and yet, LAYS THE SMACK DOWN at every opportunity.

And what about Iron Chef Japanese II? Whose name I can't remember, because he was only on the show for about three minutes? Huh, what about him?

I think he's listed. Masaharu Morimoto must be the second one because Rokusaburo Michiba, is also known as *the first* Iron Chef Japanese.

I was more a Chen fan. But that may be because knowing Chinese cuisine is like knowing the same amount as 190 Japans in stylistic regional cuisines. That, and because I tend to cook Chinese the most often myself. Although their women aren't as hot as Japanese women.

Morimoto is the THIRD Iron Chef Japanese, you smug idiot.

If you're going to make me look up the name of the second one, I'm going to be very disappointed in you. It's like "Nokia" or something, but it isn't, because that's a camera.

Plus, he always wrote the menu out. I appreciate that in an Iron Chef.

Just for completeness, since the moron who started this thread didn't know his Iron Chef from an ass in the ground:

The second Iron Chef Japanese was: Komei Nakamura

The first Iron Chef French was: Yutake Ishinabe

All other IC's have been mentioned.

Thanks, Pinback. Guess I should have checked http://www.ironfans.net/aboutic/bios/ first before starting the poll.
