Hey, remember how I said that Asteroids Deluxe was not quite as good as Asteroids, but still great?
Galaga 88 SUCKS, compared to Galaga. SUCKS.
Interestingly, I never used to like Galaga in the arcades. But now, I'm like, this is maybe the most brilliant descendent of the "Invader" line of all time!!!

Well, I'm torn. On one hand I could advertise the hell out of this BBS. That means that more people would possibly visit and write.
On the other hand, you would bankrupt yourself offering cash to the new users in order to make them shut the fuck up.
Regardless, an influx of new members would probably, overall, be a positive thing. I have been given five (5) DVDs accidently from Columbia House -- 5 (five) DVDs that I either already own or didn't ask for. Maybe I should start some sort of contest where the person who brings in the most new, registered and having-made-a-post users gets their pick from the following:
THE EXORCIST
CLERKS: SPECIAL EDITION
MALLRATS: SPECIAL EDITION
CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON
OCEAN'S 11: NOT THE PITT AND CLOONEY VERSION
Maybe I should do that??
Also, I am intentionally not answering your question on Galaga scores. Intentionally. Respectfully, but intentionally.

the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey!
This is how you view me? Again, the lack of respect. It permeates this entire establishment.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:On the other hand, you would bankrupt yourself offering cash to the new users in order to make them shut the fuck up.
That movie RULES.CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON
I don't see why it's such a hard question. We all glance at the high score table from time to time. Sometimes you see a score which makes you think, "Eh, big deal". Like, say, "36250". But sometimes you see a score which makes you think, "Hey, that guy must be pretty good!"Also, I am intentionally not answering your question on Galaga scores. Intentionally. I want to know what that score is for you. For all of you.

Depends, Mayhap the machine got rolled over (like my friend did with 'mousetrap') and he had to play all the way thru again until he almost rolled it over again then he let himself get caught until all his mice died just so he could have his initials in the top spot. All this on one quarter (actually a putt putt token) a good score on Galaga is the highest you could get before you rolled the counter back to zero, I guess. Any time you get to put your initals in the top 3 spots is a good score, regardless of the numbers.
