Opera pisses me off....

I had been happily using the Opera that came with SuSE 8.1, which worked OK, and all the fonts were fine.

Then I upgraded to the Opera 6.1 available from Opera, and now all my fonts look like ass, even though Opera advertises that it now supports anti-aliased fonts by default, and shit.

Wah.

Back to 6.0.3 and everything is fine.

Can I get full screen mode with opera and can I get a very slim bar of buttons like I have in IE 5?

Yep. F11 goes to full-screen (at least on the Windows version, which I assume you're using, since you're in IE 5 now), and if you use the small icons for buttons they'll be shorter.
