How come this doesn't move the ship up when the joystick is moved up?

Because the 6809 is so old and obsolete that it has forgotten what all the commands mean.

Yeah, I was 1dering about this also.

Shouldn't the numbers for up, down, and no input be different or something?

Also, eighty bucks is WAY too much. Don't overcompensate for failing to charge for Necr-SUPER JONSEY ADVENTURE IV!!
