Hi - will someone tell me how to use your uzi in a car? What are the keyboard controls?

What you want to do is equip the uzi as your active weapon before getting into the car. Then, use the side-look views while driving. If you press the fire key at that point, it should fire.

I don't remember what the keyboard defaults are for fire and look to the left and look to the right, but you should be able to change those in the game's controller setup. Go forth and create havoc, jojo!

I appreciate the help ice cream, but I think there is a way to use the uzi without the side view. When u enter a car it automaticlly swithes to the uzi, then you can sick your hand out and fire. Its the R2 or L2 button for PS2, but I dont know what it is for PC. Any other hints up your sleeve. I really would like to just shoot people from my car.

Here's what I can find for PS2 controls (I don't have the PS2 version of the game)

The PS2 controls are as follows (the layout may change and no one has mentioned yet what the other buttons do. L3 and R3 are used by pushing in either analog stick):

Button Action - On Foot/In Vehicle
Square Jump / Brake
Circle Hit / Fire / Activate Car Bomb
Triangle Enter / Exit Vehicle
X Accelerate / Sprint

R1 Target Lock / Hand Brake
R2 Change Weapons / Driveby View
R3 Look Behind / Toggle Vehicle Mission

L1 Change Radio Station
L2 Change Weapons / Driveby View
L3 Horn / Sirens

Left Stick Movement
Right Stick First Person View
D-Pad Movement

Start Pause Game / Access Options Menu
Select Change Camera Angle

I'll see if I can find my manual to the PC version. I think it's around here somewhere.

Damn, man, I can't see any way of doing that on the PC.

Hey, there were about 40 people who were brutally savaging me in that GTA thread we had on here -- any of you guys know how to do a drive by without having to switch views like that? Ben? The REAL Man? Ex-Reader of my Stool?

You can't shoot out the window unless you're in the side view.

I'm making slow progress with this game (I don't really mind... lately, it's been a nice time killer). One of my favorite things about the game so far has been the ability to use my own mp3s, which I knew I'd like but didn't know I'd like it so much.
Nothing like finally getting to the crusher and getting into the van that's parked there and hearing the tail end of 'the impossible dream'. That was nice.
