You said the game irrevocably sucked after Casey and Jarret discussed their lives together outside the Sporting Goods store, not because of the bit with the mummy.
Well, yes, that was pretty bad.

Which of the game's many flaws was its final undoing, though? Ah well, I suppose in the end it doesn't really matter. No matter whether grandma got run over by a bus or she'd fallen and she couldn't get up, she's still just as dead.
I thought the mummy scene was creepy in a "quick, quick, hit "south" and get the hell out of here" thing. I don't know. I was trying to do a scene where the monster in the basement wakes up and you have to run out of the basement and lock him in before he gets up.

But since it's IF you can also set him on fire.

That's one of those things. The intuitive thing to do is run away. You can do that just fine. But when you put in a method for killing it and talk about it on your website people might presume that that's how you intended for people to do it... but it wasn't. It wasn't!

It wasn't.

Excellent! Seeing a computer controlled ship get torn the F apart by the Creeping Maw in the upcoming Vectrex release The Creeping Maw will definitely be something to watch out for, then!
