Hey, the new website will look like shit

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

I think I'm good with the white text on black background that the main site shows. One of the reason that I haven't taken your collective awesome posts and made them articles is because I knew that I was going to change what this site looked like eventually, I just wasn't sure when.

I am not sure when. Immediately.

What I'd like to do is have the text of a "feature" be in HTML or XML. All by itself. I would then like an HTML "shell" to wrap around it. So therefore I can change what the site looks like later without having to re-imagine the hardcoded crap on my content.

Is that possible? Am I an idiot for thinking this? I KNOW it's possible.

How would I even begin to do that? How would I begin to have a website that essentially just displays some HTML where Knuckles is ragging on liberals and show bolding, links and italic text but let color be determined by the parent file?

Does it also involve an apology?

Right. When you type in that URL, YES, WITHOUT THE WWW AS IF ONE, I DON'T KNOW, COPIED AND PASTED, that is the exact message you get. I do not know why they append the www to the message. Maybe you should have, you know, tried it, before you assumed I had the IQ of last night's dinner.

Thank you.

A-ha, here is the problem. You need the period on the end. The link on your website http://contextualtherapy.org does not have it, and therefore does not go anywhere, at least with Firefox on my computer. THEN, as if it weren't weird enough, when you get to the website, it shows the URL with both the period at the end and a backslash. That's fucked up.

I think you are going insane. "contextualtherapy" is not the same as "contextualpsychology", with or without a period. That's why I corrected it in my message above, which you then tore me a new one for, because you can't fucking read.

Yeah, well, I hope you also APOLOGIZE.

Because now I demand an apology from YOUR ass too. Both of you people. I expect the rest of these retards to be horrible to me, because they're morons. But from YOU people, I DEMAND APOLOGIES.

One each. And they better be GOOD apologies, or I don't even want to THINK about the length of time that I will leave for.

I apologize for destroying your favorite website. I was not aware that it held any value for you, or anyone else. If I had it all to do over again, I would have chosen a different path. Alas, I've rung a bell which cannot be unrung, so all I can do is apologize for any inconvenience, disappointment, or other unpleasantry which you've felt as a result.

It was not my intention to displease you (or anyone). I apologize if I did.

Sorry I assumed you would post the wrong URL on your webs--, wait, I mean, sorry I assumed you were vaguely correcting my mistake, because you never do that, instead of realizing you were sneakily trying to correct your own, in an underhanded and demure way so that any reader on here might, if they were not looking carefully, also think I was the idiot, instead of you.
