Hugo v3.1.03 beta

Post by Kent »

Hi, kids. I've put the new Hugo beta up at:

http://www.generalcoffee.com/hugo/beta/

Not too many changes since the last Windows beta mentioned here a couple of months ago, but some additional fixes have been put in, library and packages updated, etc.

Once it's clear that there are no issues with the beta, it'll go to the IF archive.

Hmm, when I installed, it's still saying 3.1.02 (but it does show today as the build date). Also, the library is still showing up as 31020 (maybe it hasn't changed? I downloaded the lib zip too).

Hey, it used to act funny when I would move and resize the window, in my work-in-progress. For instance, when not full-screen, if I moved the window down some, then the next refersh would cause it to not correctly draw the status bar and parts of the graphic window(s). That doesn't seem to be happening on this new version. I see something that might account for it in the "new" section of the change log, so if this was an intentional fix, it's working!

Oh, wait, you wanted the proper version numbers on the executables and the right files in the library package? So demanding!

(I realized about an hour ago that I messed these two things up. Whee, it's beta! Updated files are now in place; sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if I came close this time.)

(And yeah, the window resize/move fix is new with 3.1.03.)

Yep, version numbers appear fine now. I ran Distress through a transcript, and nothing odd happened. I spot-checked Trading Punches and a couple others I'm working on, and all seemed fine.
