Halloween only 5 months away...

Post by milker »

Ok, this year I am going fricken ballistic at the house. There is going to be fricken stuff poppin, hoppin, chompin, and shittin.

The theme I am going with is Danse Macabre.

Check it:

Here are some of the planned projects I have already started or will be starting.

Robb's top quality Milker original rorschach mask. I learned a new techique for mask making where you use your wifes nylons as a base and then use paper towels and latex to create a skin. I can then sculpt into the skin as if it was clay. This makes mask making much easier and I do not have to sculpt and mold the damn thing. I can also add facial appliances to the latex skin to make it even quicker. This paper towel technique is often referred to as soft sculpting. I had never heard of it until I went to seminar here in Denver for the Haunted House industry.

I have made a long cloaked spirit chick that pops a boner under her coat. Lights go off and the chick lunges forward at the young soiled child.

I am making a zombie out a prop zombie I won on Ebay for the 16ft pine coffin gathering dust and webs in the garage. Now Robb plans to practice his zombie skills in this bitch, but until the big night, I need an actual dead guy to fill the void.

If you look at my flickr, you will see various pictures that could send the religious right into a cardiac arrest. Well since they don't have a heart anyway, I thought they could deal with my Lucifer costume. Oh I can hear my stupid bible humpin neighbors now. This costume is guranteed to have them not talk to me another year and Tracie and I can live in peace :)

That is a short list of the various other things I am working on.

Thought I would share. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know. Maybe I could do it for you.

Yeah, to sum up:

I have encouraged the Milker to make some Rorschach masks for people to buy off eBay. Rorschach was the most popular character from the Alan Moore / Dave Gibbons graphic novel called "Watchmen."

I think I posted some pics taken last Halloween when I threw together a costume based on the guy. (This Halloween I think I am leaning towards Sinestro.)

It wouldn't surprise me if eBay shut the auction down, but I think there's a hole in the market that the Milk could fill.

Secondly! Milk goes nuts for Halloween and among other things wants to have a standing coffin that someone could jump out of. That someone will hopefully be me. I'll then shamble towards the kids who come to his place for candy. I'd love to have video of this, should it happen. Of course, I assume that the mechanism will get stuck and I'll suffocate, so you've got that to look forward to as well. I'll give Vark the FTP password on October 30th.

Also, the Milker's last mask is DISGUSTING. Frigging crusted over eyeballs and shit. He's really good at what he does and what he does isn't very nice.

I think I might be able to get that one done with some purple makeup. The thing is - when are all the parties? But I guess if you have access to an RV you make your own parties.

You should make Sim Crystals and some sort of rig to wear them over your head. I bet those would sell really well. I had something like that

The hat got dirty long after Halloween. I need to get around to finding the pictures of Halloween.
Good point Bobby!

Two things: I can trace the outline for you when it is convienent for you. It's really starting to shape up.

Secondly! You should give everyone here Flicker links to your other photos. The Milker has some effed-up shit to show you, JC Denizen.

Thirdly! Is Worm wearing a Boston Red Sox hat because it was trendy or because he was a lifelong fan that finally saw them win it all?

Zombie Hat

Post by milker »

I like that hat. It has just the right amount of crusted in dirt and looks like it may have just the right amount of stains to add to a zombie at halloween.

That hat looks like it should be glass encased following the big win!

Many years ago, I did the latex-and-paper-towels as the main ingredients in a Freddy Krueger makeup job for a couple Halloweens in a row. I probably still have the Woochie bald cap with bits of it on there somewhere in my parent's basement.

Actually, I may have used kleenex, now that I think of it. Dick Smith has a very good mummy makeup technique using paper towels in his make-up book, though. (I would assume that that book and Savini's Bizarro/Grand Illusions exist on the bookshelf of anyone who does any kind of makeup effects.)

Anyway, it worked very well, just a bitch to remove, like any latex makeup.

What a shitty world. Christopher Reeve is dead, and you're alive.

Hell, the 9/11 BOMBERS are dead and you're alive.

Haven't you drunk yourself into a gutter and gotten run over by a street sweeper yet? Or gotten so depressed that you've needed to feel the sweet sting of a fresh razor blade cutting across your wrist?

JUST DO IT. Asshole.

Here's hoping that you're rotting in a pond somewhere before RobB gets married, so I'll never have to see you.

Hey Walrus,

Did you take Dick's make up course?

Man, I think you had said you did some stuff in the past, but now I am learning more.

What are you wearing :)

Thats cool to know you have done the latex to bugger wipe method of sculpting.

Send pic!

Dear Jeff,

Lay off. The minute you think you can truly tell what someone is like as a person by their internet persona is the minute your opinion becomes rather worthless.

Don't worry, I shan't bother you again.

Until shitfuck leaves again to run yet another shitty website that no one will ever look at then have a hard drive crash with no backups like a fucking moron then cry and start another shitty website that no one visits.
