I can't even get to the kitchen and back in 30 seconds and it's three steps away.

It's apparent to me that my life these past few months has been nothing but a shell of a life without the brutal entertainment of a fucking ACCOUNTING SIMULATOR.
Do you know the type of people who go to college for accounting? I bet you'd get along great with em.

Yeah, straw, I had to take an accounting class as part of my associates degree. When I mentioned it to people, I heard this hard stance against accounting that people stole from some poor comic's routine, so I know exactly what your <s>saying</s> regurgitating.

Futhermore, it's not like accounting, it's more like balancing your fucking checkbook.
Good point Bobby!

I don't balance my checkbook either, and I certainly wouldn't consider it an entertaining game if I did!

Most people...well, most <i>grown-up, responsible</i> people...don't consider this something to be <i>proud</i> of.

I just use a spread shit to keep track of my shit.

Straw: Well fuck, if Max Payne 2 said "You will have -10 health after these bullets hit you", would it be worse? It's just a matter of ignoring the shit and kicking ass.

I don't have a checkbook or a checking account, I just use a pre-paid credit card to accept wire transfers, make payments and get cash. I got sick of check and overdraft fees.

That display in Trash would serve just as much purpose if it said:

TRASH: You Need More
GAS/PEOPLE: You Need More
POWER: If You Are Human, You Need More

Because these are always, always the case.

If Pinback actually plays Starcraft I will eat a piece of paper out of my printer.
I have re-bought the game, and am now playing through it in earnest. I am on Terran mission 7.

This game rules! What is Jonsey's fucking problem with it?

There a single player version of it now? Aces.

I don't have a problem with it. I think the multiplayer version was awesome. I wish I had a "Pinblack" character I could blame. I have these questions:

1) Was Mark going to give you the single player missions, and you just re-bought it because you're that kind of guy?

2) WHEN WE TRASHING IT?!?!?! I will take a day's vacation for this.

I was actually talking about StarCraft.

Also, it occurred to me after I stopped by Best Buy and picked up one of the several remaining StarCraft Battle Chest boxes, this question:

What other game has been around nine years, never had a sequel, and that you can still be pretty sure you can pick up a copy at any random Best Buy/CompUSA/Circuit City you happen to stop in at?

Is that unprecedented?

You can't buy Warcraft I.

You can probably buy Warcraft III, but that's only a few years old.

How long has Diablo II been out, and can you still buy it straight off the shelf at Best Buy?

Are we talking only PC games or consoles too? I think the original Sneaky Bastard has been out for quite some time and it's still available. Wait I take that back, you don't include bargain bin sales, right? Then never mind...

I MUST KNOW

I was going to say "Zork I" but it had a sequel. You could buy it 9 years later. I can't even get to 9 years later, sequel or not.

It is coming up on its 7th anniversary.

Rollercoaster Tycoon has a sequel. Half-Life has a sequel. Could you buy Duke Nukem 3D in 2005? I guess that's the only one I can think of that even comes close. Space Invaders for the Atari 2600?
