Yes, TONIGHT. Except it will probably fail because:
1. Gerrit is going to a beer tasting and though he says he'll probably get back in time, he is forgetting that he'll be drunk and will forget how to tell time.
2. Jonsey will insist he is clicking on his builder units, until we tactfully remind him that he is instead making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
3. Worm is BANNED.
But yes, it's ON, tonight at 8P, 9M, 10C, 11E.

Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Wow, Starcraft Nite #2 was an even bigger failure than the first one. Not because either of the combatants (Jonsey and I) were anything less than delightful, but because our CONFIRMED THIRD didn't show up, as I predicted, and our BAD-ATTITUDED FOURTH refused to show.
So, thanks for NOTHING, you people.
STARCRAFT NITE IS OVER.
You ruined it for everyone.

OK, so Starcraft if Gerrit can make it, otherwise Counter-strike? Is that what I am sensing?
I possibly have a replacement Gyruss PCB showing up today. So I need to install that. But the good news is that I am going to try to get out of here when the mail is delivered in Denver because I can almost guarantee that ... OK, backup.
A guy is sending me the printed circuit boards (PCB) for Gyruss. I am then to send off the ones I ruined to another guy. It's all very post-modern. The first guy sent them out Monday and asked for overnight delivery, which of course means they will show up on Wednesday. (Not his fault: he did the best the US Post Office allows.) (Actually, the guy in question here sold me Crystal Castles all those years ago and he's awesome.)
In a perfect world the new package is waiting for me when I come home at my usual time, which is around 7:00. However, I will bet my soul that instead of the package there will be a salmon-colored note saying, "Pick it up at the post office lol!!!" If you have a fucking job there is no such thing as overnight delivery. I admit there is a 2% chance that they leave it on my front step. But come on, they've fucked this up virtually every other time I've had stuff delivered.
And there's no way in hell I'm letting a 25 year old set of boards sit overnight at the post office.
So this is all good news for my fellow JC Multiplayers. I'm leaving here as soon as I know that the mail has been delivered. This allows me to then pick it up at the post office, install the boards and get the ones I ruined ready for shipping elsewhere. I will be available well before the start time at the top of this thread.
