SlikStik Bankruptcy

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

Do you trust that I always bring the good shit? Some of you have seen this alread, but this is the greatest thread in the world right now:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=72444.0

What happens when one complete fucking slimeball decides to run off with twenty thousand dollars, and get an attitude about it? It has IT ALL, this thread. Lies, corruption, the attorney general of New Jersey, The Mouth of the Vampire, everything.

If you make it to the end, you WON'T be disappointed.

I'm currently on Page 5 and already things are really starting to HEAT UP. It's well past 8:00PM here in Atlanta and I've already been forced to push back my arrival time at a nearby party so I can reach the end of the Slik Stik Saga.

Although, I mean, parties are probably going to be more entertaining - the thread's entertainment factor was in relation to its peers, like other threads. Not a reception with drunk girls and plenty of Irish carbombs.

I dunno, I think the thread could easily be adapted into a very entertaining two-act play or, at the very least, a rather engaging Vectrex game.

Faith and begorrah, you've never heard of the Irish Car Bomb?! The ingredients be simple and true (as well as being widely available). Cheers!!

3/4 pint Guinness Stout
1/2 shot Bailey's Irish Cream
1/2 shot Jameson Irish Whiskey

Now then, add the Bailey's and Jameson to your shot glass, carefully layering the Bailey's on the bottom. Next, pour the Guinness into a pint glass, allowing it to settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and CHUG. If you don't drink it fast enough it will curdle and begin to taste terrible as well as invoke feelings of shame and regret within the far-too-slow drinker.

Somehow I don't think the words 'Guinness' and 'chug' should be in the same sentence, as the beer is cleverly disguised motor oil. I will have to try one in the near future.

I think I am going to have one of these tonight. If the corner liquor store has Guiness. I honestly have no idea if they do, but.

that's a pretty good read. Made all the better by I..C...J!!
It's sickening just how much editing / deletion / douchebaggery there was though. Imagine how much funnier it could have been unedited.

makes me appreciate uncensored places such as this.

Even better than this thread though was another one posted inside it.

I think I had one good line removed. I don't know, I'm with you: I prefer to let a place moderate itself, but this website gets around 80 unique visits a day on the forums and other sections, and BYOAC is a really big site, so it shows you what I know. (I don't want to bag on the way a SysOp runs his site, either.)

Thanks for the heads-up. That guy's attitude when he was stealing money from people in the arcade community can't be understated. What a piece of trash.

Damn, and I used to have a slikstick too. I liked it much better than my Atari ones.

Waitasec, Atari? Are you speaking of a 2600 or 2600-style controller? I think there may be two kinds of Slikstik, if that's the case, and I want to make sure we are talking about the right one here.

Aardvark is talking about the Slik Stik from Suncom. I think it is unrelated to the SlikStik arcade company.

Remind me to relate the story about how I used my erector set to make a motor driven rapid fire button for that stick.
