The other reason I posted this was to remind myself to tell everyone that they also have a list of all the police officers in the city of Rochester, by name and yearly salary. My buddy on the force makes some pretty good scratch. Good. I just didn't know they could make stuff like that public.
They also have a list of all the restaurants in the area and any health department violations. It's even search-able. It's about time the D & C put out some useful information for a change.

Different places have different rules for city and state employee salaries. All government employees have their salaries posted online. If you know somebody who worked for the federal government in 2008 (it's usually a year behind), they're in here.
