Since you guys are paying for this crepes video, you should know I wasted $2.50 of your money. I bought eggs, milk, flour and sugar, only to discover the recipe I found doesn't say to use sugar.
I already have cooking spray and margarine.
Since Ben was so upset over me using milk in making an omelet should I use the sugar or return it for a refund? (The smallest package of sugar that Target sells is a 5 pound bag of the house label at $2.50.) Since I wasn't sure, I have not opened the package yet. I will need the grill so I have opened its package.
Here's the recipe I have:
http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/basic-crepes/Detail.aspx
It doesn't mention sugar, but does mention salt. Oh, I have salt; that I do have, I bought a pound a few months ago. I have an old prescription vial I used up that now I essentially use as a salt shaker. When I buy pizza or make spaghetti or oatmeal sometimes I'll use salt, I'll pull a pinch and sprinkle it on. A cylinder of salt about 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches tall will usually last me about a year. I'm guessing the pound of salt will last me most of the rest of my life.
Besides, for spaghetti you need all three. Garlic, garlic salt and regular salt.
I mean, you guys are paying for this video, I want to make sure I do it right so you're all happy about it. I don't want to repeat the kind of horrible, soul-destroying agony that ripped Ben apart because of my sin of commission of making an omelet with milk.
Plus you may have a different way of making crepes that does use sugar.
In fact, since I have eggs I'll do at least one and possibly two new omelet videos, one on the grill and one using the microwave omelet gadget my sister sent me.
And yes, Ben, I promise I will not use any milk at all in making these omelets.
Well, I wasted $2.50 of your money

I'm co-opting one of the billion crepe threads around here.
Tdarcos, you said this the other day:
Unless she was serious...
about the thing you told Ben ...
that happened on -- OK, I don't get it.
Did she say she was gonna fuck you? What was it?

We all want to know the FULL story here.Uh, Ben, I told my best friend that if I got to see her in person, don't ever be alone with me unless she was serious about the thing I told you (and everyone else on the Bull & Finch Pub) that happened to me on Wednesday, July 19, 1995, at 2:31 PM, Eastern Daylight Time.
