I need my mic to be louder in the mix.

The delay thing was a problem.

The levels were all messed up.

Audicity can export mp3 files right out of the box, though, so no additional downloads were necessary.

Once I fix the delay issue, which I dunno how to, and fix the levels, we should be good to go.

I'm not sure why my webcam doesn't work, though. I don't know if I installed the software for it or not, and potentially finding the install disk is a hit-or-miss proposition, maybe I'll just go buy another one, they're only around $10 or so.

The kite on the other end of your podcast mentioned SoundForge, it was a professional audio processing program probably similar to what Audacity has now. It wasn't very expensive either, I think it was around $29.95, but now that Audacity is out any audio processing program has to be a lot better to be worth paying for.

I was able to be on the program for a few minutes before Ben took another call and ditched me for a better offer of cleaning up poop out of the carpet.

I did learn that "Don Rogers" is a pseudonym, made up of a conglomeration of two of Ben's heroes ... Don Ho and Mr. Rogers.

Also, in my defense, my show had a lot of great material that got cut.

Also, I have to remember to keep my stories shorter and on track. Two or three of my stories were too long. The cat story was too long.

Also, after hearing the recording, it sounds completely opposite. When I called in, I sounded great and you sounded far away. Then when I hear the recording, it's the opposite. Which makes sense.

Also I think the slight delay leads to a lot of interrupting. And after listening back to my own show, I hear that I missed a LOT of your comments.

Also, I think 6:20 is too early in a show to go with a incest/pedophile joke.
