OK
- Megaman (Introduced people to a new style of gameplay)
- Megaman 2 (Innovative in its own right)
(Played Megaman 9, almost the same game anyway.)
- Metroid (nes) (Introduced people to a new style of gameplay)
- Castlevania (nes) (Introduced people to a new style of gameplay)
- Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest (nes) (Innovative in its own right)
- Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse (nes) (Innovative in its own right)
- Castlevania: Dracula X (Turbografx) (Innovative in its own right)
- Castlevania: Symphony of the night (PS1) (Innovative in its own right)
(I played Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Now looking back at those games. I can see that they played a huge role in making this game great.)
- Final Fantasy III (nes)
- Final Fantasy IV (snes)
(Played them.)
- Rayman (ps1)
- Rayman 2: The Great Escape (ps1)
- Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc (ps2)
(Played Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Considering how great this game is, I consider the rest of the titels as necessary to make this game great.)
- Final Fantasy X (ps2)
- Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (wiiware)
(Played them.)
- Luxor (arcade)
(Played Luxor 2. I think that the gameplay has still kept the same and was only improved from this game.)
- Ikaruga (arcade)
(Played a freeware game called megaman polarity. Having played a 2D shooter and that game. I consider Ikaruga a bit of a cross between the 2. (It does however not have the megaman style of gameplay.)
- Card Fighters Clash (Neo Geo) (Card fighting game probably. Was inspiration for later card fighting games, which is why I included it. (I have played a card fighting game.))
- Steppenwolf (freeware) (pc)
(played it)
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (gamecube)
- I Wanna Be The Guy (freeware) (pc)
- Super Mario Galaxy (wii)
- N (freeware) (pc)
- Cave Story (freeware) (pc)
- Iji (freeware) (pc)
(Played them.)
- Super Meat Boy (freeware) (pc) (I think this game to be similar to what I like in I wanna be the guy.)
