I bought a Celeron P4 board with a Celeron P4 processor. I don't know if that sounds right. So, anway. I think it is the PSU. The fucker is freezing and my Power Supply is old it is like 115 to 250. Don't I need something else? Like bigger?

Re: My Motherboard having trouble.
You probably want at least a 300 watt power supply. If you can get a hold of one that is 400 that would be great.Worm wrote:I bought a Celeron P4 board with a Celeron P4 processor. AMD systems that I've built are really, annoyingly particular about the power supply that they have. You getting any sort of 300W one for your Celeron should be good.
I wish I had some spares -- I'd send you one if I did. But I am totally and completely out. Usually I get them from my friend's computers that I upgrade, but I think I had one go on me recently and that evaporated my secret stash.
