I'll let you know how the order goes. I am Western Unioning him the loot tomorrow. (If all you need is the linker kit you can order it with a credit card on the site, but the headphone adaptor isn't in the online order portion - I think the only shipping option is airmail with that too)

I am missing some ROMS but I have 1,084 right now. I'll see if I can get a complete set right quick. It'll definitely fit on a DVD though, I'm at 3.4 gig right now.

Also: are your blanks +r or -r?

I'm missing 23 games out of 969 (only counting commercial roms). I want to find at least the Bomberman game, Star Wars, Hot Wheels, GT Championship, and all the (U) roms before I feel it's complete. I would rather not have holes in it at all, depends on how antsy you are for them. Here's a complete list of all the games I'm missing:

I can only burn +R's as I have the damn Phillips DVDRW.

OK, thanks to JQW I have a complete set from 001-938. I stripped the first 7 characters from the ZIP files just leaving the game names. The original filenames are still preserved in the zip file, though. And remember, there's no reigon lockout so you can play any single one of these rom's on your GBA.
Now to sit back, relax and wait for the flash linker. Mr. Cheng says he's shipping tomorrow.

Hrm.. Got my Flash2Advance 256 pro today, does anyone know why Super Mario World 2 and Zelda won't work? Mario won't even start, it says corrupt save and Zelda will start but won't let me begin a game and says it can't make save data.
Is there any trick to this? I though the 256 pro didn't need patching for anything...

Yes. The Linker has to emulate the EEPROM by using the SRAM , this is
done by patching the game ROM. Patches can be found at

no website given on that one, but here is some other stuff I found in faq on dcslinks

8. Why some game titles cannot save?
During some titles are using EEPROM save so it cannot use normal SRAM save. It may fix by some coder to modify the saving method soon.

made both Mario and Zelda work perfectly. Now I can get everything to run.. it's the same util for everything. I didn't think I would have to patch but whatever, as long as it works.

Now to figure out how to grab the savebanks to a file on the PC. One step at a time.. this shit is PHAT though! Advance Wars is a good one, and small too!

The N64 disc is for RobB, copy it as you see fit. It's technically an overburn but I've never come across a ROM that won't play on it. It should be a complete USA set... I think that all the data was written there was just ALMOST not enough space to complete finalization. I think this because the PC will see it but the Xbox will not. S'okay because the Xbox N64 emu sucks right now. Give a try to Project64... tickles my cockles.
