Yeah, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is written by the same guy who wrote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

There is also William Shakespeare's Star Wars.

Speaking of ALVH I was surprised by how many accurate historical references to President Lincoln's life that there were in that movie.

Then I could walk around normally without the fear of getting bitten.
The irony would be that after getting chain mail, the last man left alive would be Retro and you'd get bitten anyway.

I just want to be left alone. I don't have enough food or anything here to survive for a long period of time, but you're telling me that I won't have to go to work while everyone else is out there trying to get over on one another? I will stay here and wait for this to all blow over.

Although having a split level house means that I have the least-secure house of anyone here.

You should read the book then. It's fantastic. That movie was a hunk of garbage.

The book completely reads like a normal biography of Abraham Lincoln. It goes through everything that actually happened in his real life, yet much of it was "secretly" tied to vampires. The movie took this genius concept and distilled it down to a silly action flick with Lincoln spinning an ax around like a ninja.

The movie was too cutesy and wink wink, isn't it funny, Lincoln fighting vampires! The book took it's premise seriously and sold the shit out of it.

I can't say enough good things about the book and enough bad things about the movie. haha

Did you ever see Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter? Here is the synopsis from Wikipedia:

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter is a 2001 cult film from Odessa Filmworks which deals with Jesus' modern-day struggle to protect the lesbians of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, from vampires with the help of Mexican wrestler El Santo (based on El Santo, Enmascarado de Plata, and played by actor Jeff Moffet, who starred as El Santo in two other Odessa Filmworks productions).

Yeah, it wasn't great. The premise was more entertaining than the execution.

It was awful, it's probably #3 on my HATE list after Eraserhead and The Sphere
