Let me tell you a quick story. Some of you know this already.

There used to be a site called Old Man Murray. It was my favorite place on the Internet.

As fantastic as the content was, the forums were just as good. I lurked for two years before posting anything. Mostly because I didn't want to ruin my experience with what I saw as the very best forum on the planet.

The main site went down one day. Everyone who had bonded in the forums was a mite concerned, seeing how we all still wanted to shoot the shit together. Around this time I started posting more, mainly in the NFL Blitz forum.

The guys who ran OMM placed the forums back up for us, though the content was not yet back up. We all started to discuss a contingency plan in case the forums went down again.

They did. Long story short, the guy who ran OMM just got sick of us. He told us that he was never bringing the forums back.

Enter Caltrops -- this is where the majority of us who had been on the forums fled to. Caltrops has some game reviews, some staff articles, and the bunch of us from the former OMM forums again shooting the shit in a forum atmosphere again.

I mention all this because today, Old Man Murray is back up. The features are there, but not the forum. If you never got a chance to check the site out before it was taken down, here is your chance. The content on this site is the funniest I have ever seen on the Internet and I recommend it without reservation.
