Mortgage Man Presents: Salmon Caesar Salad

Post by pinback »

HELLO! I am MORTGAGE MAN! Which means I have no money to spend on food! And I am fat! And all of my spare time is spent WORKING ON THE HOUSE!

So I need delicious meals that are also cheap, easy, and healthy!

I am MORTGAGE MAN!

May I present to you:

MORTGAGE MAN SALMON CAESAR SALAD!

INGREDIENTS
============
1 head Romaine lettuce, or 1/2 bag pre-chopped romaine.
1 4oz can of sockeye (or "red") salmon, preferably still with skin and bones, but that's just my preference.
1 bottle of Kraft "Lite Creamy Caesar" salad dressing!
1 bag of reduced fat croutons.

INSTRUCTIONS
============
1. Chop up romaine, or put pre-chopped romaine in a bowl.
2. Dump the can of salmon on it.
3. Put 2 tbsp of the dressing on it.
4. Put some croutons on it.
5. STIR, to distribute the dressing and break up the salmon wad!!!!!

This has been MORTGAGE MAN'S LITE SALMON CAESAR SALAD.

I am MORTGAGE MAN!!!!!!!!!!
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Was there a step where you remove the bones and stuff? Or do you just spit them out?

Dear Poor and Hungry:

Substitute canned chicken for salmon. It's sold in cans of the same size and weight as tuna fish, which I would have recommended except you said you don't like seafood.

Sincerely,

No, there was not a step where any of this happens. The bones in canned salmon are the best parts.
