Llama vs. Duck

Post by Flack »

My kid just walked into the living room and asked me to try out this game he wrote in Scratch.

I scored 50 the first time and quit.

51. Suck it.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

I quit at 180 earlier and told him he needed to make it harder. Right now he's working on a bug that sometimes serves up the same picture twice in a row. He fixed a bug in the high score system earlier and based on the sounds coming from his laptop, the game either does, or soon will, play music.

He said he might make an advanced mode which (a) randomly rotates the pictures and (b) randomly switches which side the buttons are on.

If he gets this working I'm going to see if Tdarcos is willing to subcontract some of his coding work out.

Not sure I'm thrilled with his addition of "you ducked up" but... I guess that's... is that appropriate 12 year old humor?
