This is one of my favorite episodes of Ridiculousness. I'd love to hear the story about how these two crossed paths. Larry asks questions like "what is this show?" and "why am I here?" and refers to Chanel West Coast as "a prop." The whole thing is so cringey it's great.
Actually I stopped listening to TMOS a long, long time ago (insert SW pun here) but Spewak was always going on about Lay King or Jerry Lewis

I only know Rob Spewak from the Don & Mike show. I don't even know what "TMOS" is.

All I know about her is she kept getting made fun of in celebrity roasts. Also, HD pictures don't work out well for her anymore.

Cloris Leachman was the mom on Lassie for a season and was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. She was also the mom in the Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life," the one where the kid has magical wishing powers (it was remade for the 80s movie). On television she was best known for her role as Phyllis on the Mary Tyler Moore Show (she even got her own spin-off after five years). She took over for Edna Garrett in the last two seasons of The Facts of Life. She also appeared in multiple Mel Brooks films, including Young Frankenstein as... Frau Blucher (cue horse noise).

I hope we can put the app "Robinhood" on this list soon.

How did I never hear of this app until it tried to kill GameStop?

True story: I was a Gamestop shareholder for a number of years until relatively recently. In my defense, it was a reliable dividend payer and an important gaming retailer during a certain period in our nation's history. I had long accepted that it was likely my investment would ultimately go to zero after a few particularly rough years, but I held on just in case the company somehow managed to successfully pivot away from brick and mortar. I still feel that there's no reason it can't continue to grow its online business. I was also hoping it would eventually become the American version of Tencent and start investing in gaming and tech companies. Ryan Cohen seems to envision it possibly becoming a PC parts seller and a custom PC builder. Mostly, though, it has kept selling physical products in physical stores which isn't a great model in an industry where digital distribution is dominant.
When the stock ran up and I saw an opportunity to make myself whole a few weeks ago, I grabbed it. It had been down for so long that I was relieved to see the light at the end of the tunnel. At one point I had thought it was the worst investment I had ever made. I even felt ashamed to tell anyone I owned the stock...not that I talk that much about my investments, but sometimes Gamestop would come up in conversation and there were insights I could have shared that I generally chose not to. When I sold, I was aware of the unreasonable level of short interest in the stock, and I was aware there were people on Wall Street Bets who were extremely bullish. I didn't think it would come to anything. If I had held just a bit longer, I could have bought a new car with the proceeds among other things. We're close to reaching new house levels now. It'll probably all come crashing down soon enough, but it's tough to not feel some regret.

Olympia beer is done, for now anyway. I was never a fan of "fucking close to water" lagers, even local ones with a history (sorry Genny). My parents lived in Seattle and my dad for some reason never got over loving the Olympia beer commercials:

Ahahha nothing about that ad makes me want to try this beer! Who the hell would even want to be seen in this bar with these weirdos? As soon as the singing started I would have dropped 3 dollars on the bar and bolted for the door lol
I'd rather try Schmitts (Bud) Gay.

As a fan of regional American Adjunct Lagers, this saddens me.

Apparently it takes a particular kind of person to drink Olympia. I saw several outdoorsy-types and possibly a native American in that bar. Is Olympia made for the Northwest backwoods? That's the vibe I got.
