Well, yeah man. I'm pretty sure we are in agreement with him outliving at least 99.9% of the people this thread. (For me it's 100%, but I don't wanna offend anyone here.)
Limbaugh was fucked up pretty bad for a while there with the late-stage cancer. He was talking optimistic towards the end.. but you could hear his voice getting weaker and weaker. Besides all the other weird health shit he had like taking so much Viagra he went almost completely deaf and got a Cyberpunk hearing implant. Also, it got to where he would only host the show maybe 2 days a week and have fill-in hosts do the other 3 days for his "recovery days".
The only reason I know this is because I would tune in every once in a while these past few months out of morbid curiosity I guess. When I tuned in today and heard the woman filling in for him say like 3 sentences I knew that was that. After a while, some military drums started popping and I turned it off.
Then, I opened a paranormal-style podcast and went back to working. How the hell people even put up with these wind bag talk shows these days kind of blows my mind when you have so many other better things to listen to that aren't riddled in stupid commercials and idiots.

Let's be clear here, it was Oxycontin which he was acquiring from an illegal drug ring. This holier-than-thou piece of shit pill-popping hypocritical drug addict douchebag.Jizaboz wrote: Wed Feb 17, 2021 9:42 pm he had like taking so much Viagra he went almost completely deaf

Good riddance, worst electronics buying experience ever. Something that should have taken 5 - 10 minutes like walk in, grab a physical copy of windows, and then check out, takes a half hour because you have to go and ask for them to get it out of their cage and then still wait in line to pay. I went to Fry's exactly once in 5 years of being near one.

I kind of wish I had a chance to go one, but man, they weren't anywhere near wherever I have lived.
They kept games in cages....?

We didn’t have Fry’s. Instead we had Comp USA a while. I actually briefly worked there. That’s a story in itself at least one of you have heard.

Was Fry's like a Radio Shack or more of a Circuit City?

I was never near one, but from what I've heard, Fry's Electronics was like the (old) RatShack on steroids, back when RS carried hundreds of components for electronics tinkerers, like transistors and components for building breadboard circuits. Like the sort of things people buy today to constuct gadgets to connect to a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino.

Fry's was Best Buy. That is what it was.
I have one memory of Fry's, which was buying Warcraft III. You had your choice of boxes. I chose the one with the Night Elf on it, cuz she was so hot.
WC3 was the first RTS I ever finished, and also finished on the cover art.
I have nothing but good things to say about Fry's.

It was like Circuit City, Best Buy, and Radio Shack all in the same building, with a coffee shop in the middle. We didn't have one here, but I've been to ones in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Dallas. The last time I visited one I bought a Blue Yeti microphone, a Raspberry Pi, a couple of Blu-rays, a handful of electronic components I needed, a couple of PS3 games, and had lunch. Seemed pretty awesome to me.

Yeah seemed like a cool place to me too but the only one I ever saw was from the interstate in San Diego.

Just so the commander doesn't get really really confused. . . . It was the guy who invented the tape which died, though the tapes died years ago.

Pretty sad tale. He ended up choking to death, I think. They tried to stick a pencil down his throat and twirl it around to save him but it didn't work.
