She grew up in the 90's, duh. I'm sure she at least knows who Courtney Love is, that's something. Half the millennials I've worked with don't know who that is.

Ody, since you're new the fun part of this thread is that tDarcos doesn't know who any of these people are so we taught him how to right click on an image or video and select "Search Google for this [image or video]" and he still gets it wrong.

LOL no i wasn't in fact I wasn't even alive for the first half of the 80s! They did have Really Big Hair back then. And parachute pants and narrow ties.

Holy cow. 86 definitely isn't young, but this was still one of the most shocking deaths of the last two years for me. My first thought when I saw that picture was to say, "OH NO YOU'RE SAYING BEETHOVEN DIED" and it took me several moments to even figure out why you threw up that picture.

Amazon Prime had a tv show called "Patriot." Much of it was set in Milwaukee (even though they filmed in Chicago and it was obviously not-Milwaukee to a local such as myself). One great thing was that it invented a bike race called the Midnight Run where these bikers sped around the city at night. Very cool, and I wished it was a real thing.
