I am officially retracting my "championing" status for Star Lords.

The fact is: It's still in pre-alpha state, even though they're releasing "alphas". Lots of stuff is broken. Even more stuff is missing. The game kinda totally sucks so far. Also they can't seem to keep their download servers or websites up for more than 30 hours at a time. Also progress is terribly slow -- Alpha 2 was supposed to be a major step forward, and it's pretty indistiguishable from Alpha 1, after three months.

More importantly, there are so many other space 4x games in development that already look much better and more polished than this.

I am hoping they can turn it around. My confidence has waned enough for me to pull the plug on CHAMPIONING for now.
