At one point I felt as if I was missing out on some big thing having never seen Harry Potter movie or read a Harry Potter book..

.. then I heard Kanye whatshisname saying he's never read A BOOK. Dude has read ZERO BOOKS. Anyone who tells me this idiot is a genius knowing this is also an idiot.

When I was working on my writing degree I got sick of hearing how Harry Potter was "this generation's Star Wars." To be sure, both follow the Hero's Journey point-by-point and structurally have a lot in common, but unless Disney+ is cranking out one or two Harry Potter shows a year I haven't heard about... no.

Pedophile? I had heard he was simply involved with an under age girl, i.e. jail bait, which in most states means 14 or 15. (30 states and DC make age of consent 16; the rest make it 17 or 18). "Pedophile" usually means 12 and under, with 13 being either pedophile or jail bait depending on the state.
