What makes you think I'm dying any time soon?

As I figure it I'm going to be here a while, I suspect I did something wrong and am being punished for it by having to live a long time, vis-a-vis Tom Hanks in The Green Mile. Or else I have this suspicion of how the universe needs me for something, will not allow me to die - or do or be involved in something too fatal - until it's accomplished, and will push me in the desired direction and/or will make things unpleasant or miserable until I go that way, whether I like it or even understand it, although I might later on.

I don't want to sound like a predestinationist or supporting the idea of some God running things. Just a slight suspicion from the inferences I've noticed that there is at least a slight possibility that there's something more going on than is completely - or clearly - visible, and something more than usual might be happening.

On the other hand, the congestive heart failure might have damaged my brain, giving me a bunch of crackpot ideas. That, or the excessive amounts of TV I watch from my rehab hospital room; watch enough TV and it will definitely lower your IQ a few points.
