Saw this and thought of Flack actually staying in one. This is kind of a roadside attraction/ dopers hangout down by Cape Hatteras
Tried the hushpuppies with this sauce, pretty good!
Stopped for lunch on the way back from Cape Hatteras. Normally we bring snacks and stuff but this time we stopped at a local place. I got the chicken wings with peach habanero sauce and some local amber ale. Didn't care that much for the wings as they weren't cooked Rochester style but the sauce was good. I still ate 'em up yum!

It is made in North Carolina, which is why it's everywhere there. I offer this only as a note of interest, which if you already knew it, I'll show myself out.

I didn't know. I just had never seen it before and it wasn't bad. Better than the kind with the wooden top
Fun fact, the creators of Texas Pete lived here in Winston -Salem behind my grandparents house. My grandmother let her dog shit in their yard on a regular basis.

What's "Rochester style?" Cooked in garbage?* Seriously now, what's the difference?

* This is an indirect reference to the "garbage plate" mess of edibles (or edible mess, take your pick.)

I'm not afraid, any more."

Sorry, you can't talk to Rochester people about pizza or wings.
That's a callback to another thread, I'm just busting chops.
The outside of the wings should be crisp, not rubbery. Didn't know if it was a local thing or (more likely) the cook doesn't understand about chicken wings
