Took the redeye to SF. Never ever flying overnight again, even if it does cost more!


The old hotel we're staying in has a weird Shining vibe, only not as large or spacious as the Overlook.



Ok, more of a Ghostbusters, when they catch Slimer in the hotel vibe

The Hotel Commodore. You have to learn basic 2.0 to get a room!

They gave us an ADA room and I had to move the furniture closer to get comfortable. I guess people in wheelchairs don't need to put their feet up.....

Another theme hotel. You have to know all the albums in order, to get a room.

Welcome to New York! Just kidding. This is the standard photo eveyone takes when visiting. I really wanted a picture of the Oakland Bay bridge instead because a guy named Skinner lived on top of it, but no luck.

There was a 'suggested' breakfast place on the packet provided by the hotel so we went there first. The line was out the door so we said F that and walked downhill a block. (everything in San Francisco is uphill or downhill). When I think 'breakfast place' I think someting that looks like the back cover of a Supertramp album. This other place we found was pretty upscale and almost totally empty and we got right in. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and got this:

That looks like someone tried to create a piece of pizza who had never seen one and was going off rumours?

It's actually was a breakfast sandwich, created by an Italian chef.

Plus they park the meat zeppelin right across from you!

I have to mention those Waymo driverless cars were all over in SF.
