Couple of changes for the rest of the year

So, I think it's safe to say that the BBS has been an unreadable, disjointed mess for the last couple of months. I'm going to do a couple things to make this more like a place I'd like to visit again for the next couple of months.

1) If a thread is clearly one where people are trying to be funny, it will be left completely alone.

2) If what passes for a serious attempt at discussion is taking place here, and it's overcome with gimmicky posts or 10 page dissertations on something tangentially related, I am going to siphon that posts off into their own thread in the Troll Room.

For the sake of continuity I'll leave this thread alone, but for Christ's sake, I don't need 20 lines on the history of the East India Tea Company because someone said somewhere that they enjoy vindaloo.

No. I will try not to cut posts around, but -- not to name names -- if Paul squirts out a 1,000 word essay here I am probably going to do that.

Why not just replace one of the dead bases with "Lunatic Playground" and just lock it so that Paul and anyone else who fits the description cannot post outside of that one base?

I am still waiting for Robb's public statement that absolves me of all of these unjustified accusations being thrown my way.
