We typically participate in Trunk or Treat, handing out candy to kids. It's been cancelled.

We typically participate in Haunt the Tunnels, handing out candy to kids at the work daycare. It's been cancelled.

Our friends usually throw a Halloween party. It's been cancelled.

We're doing less than usual.

This is a stupid holiday.

There hasn't been a trick or treater since we moved here six years ago. Used to go to Halloween Ham but not since the kids got old enough to drive.

Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies.

Bring a small chalkboard and scratch it at each house!

I'm gonna get a bag of Reese's cups. I don't think any kids are gonna be around. In a normal year I'd go out and party. I can't even blame the pandemic for this one, I'm just tired. So tired. :(

OK, I'll blame the pandemic, it makes me sick that Halloween is on a Saturday during a full moon and we can't go downtown and watch the girls dress like tarts and drink Powerade and gin.

I lived over on Baltimore Ave. Through 9 Halloweens. The first one, I was all stocked up on candy, and,.. nothing. So I never did it again. You'd think I had posted a sign "There is no candy at this house" in front, in which case throwing eggs at the house would be a good idea.* All that delicious candy, waisted.**

* In Maryland, any child molester, once released from prison, must, by law, post that sign in front of their house, if they are present during Halloween.
** That is not a mistype, I ate the candy I was unable to give away.
